Former National News Correspondent Hattie Kauffman (Nez Perce) shares her life story
Hattie Kauffman, was for many years a fixture of CBS This Morning and has a illustrious career as a news reporter and anchor, and four Emmy Awards to show for it. She has written a very candid and vulnerable memoir entitled “Falling Into Place.” It opens with the end of a marriage, provides deep insights into her childhood, upbringing, and struggles.
She also shares very openly about her conversion experience, becoming a Christian. After encountering God, she wished it had happened much earlier in her life, but pride and maybe some anger from her teenage years kept her from it. You can read the full interview she gave for huffingtonpost.com here. Check out her book “Falling Into Place” for an insightful look at her life and experiences.
